Good Xbox One X deals are often hard to come by. This offer on Microsoft's premium games console is a standout, however: not only is Argos bundling together a copy of the brand-new, much-praised Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, but it also includes the choice of one of four extra games - all for only £305.
Those extra titles are Fallout 4, Anthem, Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 and Metro Exodus. Having one of these thrown in is a bonus to an already excellent offering. The Xbox One X on its own can retail for as much as £450, so having two games added and paying only £304.99 is something worth considering.

Should you snap it up? The primary benefit of the Xbox One X is 4K playback, and you’ll need a TV setup that supports 4K resolution to make the most of it. Here’s what mobile technology editor Nathan Spendelow recommended in his original review of the console:
“If you’re an Xbox devotee and already own a One, then it’s a tempting proposition. Not only do you get 4K gaming, but you also get a Blu-ray player that’s as good as most dedicated decks the same price.
“If you have no investment in Microsoft’s platform, it’s much less clear-cut. Yes, if you want 4K Blu-ray playback and 4K gaming, the One X is the way to go. It’s certainly cheaper than paying for a PS4 Pro and a Blu-ray player separately. But if games are your focus, the larger 4K-enabled games library and lower price of the PS4 Pro would be the way to go.”
The PlayStation 5 will launch at the end of next year , and the Xbox One X will remain the most powerful console on the market until then. If you’re excited about the prospect of 4K gaming, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order will give you plenty of explosive visuals to put the Xbox One X through its paces.
