There are Black Friday deals aplenty over at John Lewis, where discounts of up to £200 on MacBooks are being offered. Depending on the model, savvy shoppers can save anywhere between £50 and £200 on Apple's premium products which, notoriously, are rarely discounted.
What's more, savings aren't confined to the upper and lower end products respectively; the 12-inch Apple MacBook (2017), for example, with 8GB of RAM, is currently going for £150 less than normal – bringing the cost down to a much more palatable £1,099.
The Apple Macbook Pro (2017), on the other hand, has had £200 cut from its original £1,799 price – bringing its total cost down to £1,599.
A number of different models also offer three months of free Apple Music streaming when you sign up. What's more, several of the deals are reduced to clear, so be sure to snap them up. At the time of writing, a number of models have already sold out.
In our four-star review of the 13-inch Apple MacBook Pro (2018) we called it a “hugely powerful machine” and found a lot to love with its design and performance:
“If it’s sheer grunt you want in a 13-inch laptop, the MacBook Pro is hard to match. It’s hugely fast in its Core i7 guise and can be configured to a degree that simply can’t be achieved with a Dell XPS 13. Combine that with Apple’s traditional strengths – a great screen and fabulous build quality – and you have a laptop that’s well worth considering alongside the best the Windows fraternity has to offer.”
